We are a family owned and operated gymnastics school! For over 48 years our mission At Denver School of Gymnastics has been to teach gymnastics in a fun, safe, nurturing and positive environment! We believe that gymnastics is a great foundation for every child.
We are committed to building character through sport — teaching discipline, teamwork, and perseverance in a positive, encouraging atmosphere.
Meet the Owners
Born and raised in southern California, a little girl named Debbie fell in love with the sport of gymnastics from her very first class. In the following years her love of the sport grew into a very successful career. Debbie was on the US National team, competing at the World Championships and was an alternate on the 1972 Olympic team!
When her competitive career came to an end she began teaching gymnastics and fell in love all over again. She took the leap and bought Denver School of Gymnastics in Colorado in 1978. As you can guess the rest is history as DSG has been a successful gymnastics school ever since!
In 2024, Debbie and Joe passed the torch to their daughter, Adrie, who became the new owner of DSG. After years of being the Team Program Director, Adrie stepped into ownership with a commitment to carrying on the philosophy and values her parents built the gym on. Although Debbie and Joe, have retired from ownership, they are still very much a part of the DSG family! Debbie continues to substitute for coaches when needed, while Mr. Joe remains the beloved Preschool Gymnastics teacher and a competitive coach. Today, Adrie is proud to continue the legacy her parents started, while building on their vision and helping DSG grow for the next generation of gymnasts. 💙🤸♀️
The sons of Debbie and Joe are also involved at the gym. Matthew and Jeffrey are only a phone call away when help is needed at the gym!
Matthew's wife, Denise, is a payroll and billing coordinator and Jeffrey's wife, Victoria, manages DSG's social media accounts and website operations.
